1st Child U7-U13 = $150.00
(U7 denotes child 6yrs on August 1)

McDowell Mountain Ranch Soccer Club dba North Scottsdale Soccer Club was formed in 1995. Head Coach and Executive Director,George Nemeh became the club's leader in 2001. As most know he has devoted himself and worked tirelessly for our soccer community since that time. I hope the great decrease in our fees will allow our players to continue participating in this beautiful sport!

Recreational 'SOCCER STARS' Program
Recreational 'Soccer Star' Program
Our "Soccer Star Program" is a community based recreational soccer program consisting of North Scottsdale Soccer Club's, In-House Receational Soccer Teams for Ages 3-1/2 through 13. Play in a league where "Soccer Stars" are born! Our "Soccer Star" program is special and unique!
North Scottsdale Soccer Recreational Skills Training
NOTE: For the 2009 Recreational Fall Season due to the economic situation of our country that may also directly affect the families of our community we have made the decision to make skills training optional. We don't want the children of our community to miss out on a fabulous soccer season because of the cost of running a skills training program. Due to this we have greatly reduced our recreational registration fee and hope you will be able to participate. If you wish for your child to participate in skills training please add this option on at registration.
This year, Skills Training by NSSC Soccer Trainers will be an option for U7 Players and Up !!! NSSC Skills Training teaches players in a relaxed and fun environment the right way to play from the beginning, as it is easier to do so now then to correct bad habits later. Skills Training not only teaches our players the proper techniques but promotes a safer playing field where our stars can shine.
Most clubs do not offer skills training to their recreational teams. It is just not economically feasible, as most skills trainers demand $100.00 per month and over for each youth player. NSSC, has made a commitment and has provided skills training to our recreational league since its inception. We believe in its importance!
Recreational Soccer Coaching and Management
Each team has to have a Coach and a Manager. Coaches are selected from parent volunteers who are the core to the recreational program. If you are interested in coaching please indicate this on your child's registration. If you become interested in coaching a team after your child registers, please send an email to nsscsoccer@aol.com . The NSSC coaching and training staff will be your backbone and will support you at all times. Not only are you donating your time to our soccer players, you are spending irreplaceable quality time with your own children and building on your own soccer aptitude. The volunteer coach chooses the day(s), time, and location of practice but the coach and the team can arrange to suit the needs of the team.
The manager will communicate with the club, parents, and other coaches.
North Scottsdale Soccer Practice and Game Venues
Your FALL 2009 practice and game day field will be located in one of three venues: Grayhawk, DC Ranch or McDowell Mountain Ranch. Practice location is determined by the proximity of your residence.
Practices are held either twice per week for one hour each practice or for an extended once per week coach practice and a once per week skills training session. This may vary due to age group and coach. Fall Program Skills Training Sessions are for players U7 and up and given by the NSSC skills trainers. Training is done at the practice field locations.
North Scottsdale Soccer Season
The season runs from September to December with a break for Thanksgiving. Games are played on Saturdays between 8 AM and 1:30 PM. Practices are generally one or two days per week, Monday through Thursday, between 4 PM and 8:00 PM. Younger Players are the earliest and older teams may practice later.
Registrations are being accepted now for the Fall 2009 Recreational Soccer Season. Team formation begins in mid-August. After registration ends a wait list begins from which players are placed on teams on a first come - first served basis to fill openings as they arise. Requests for a teammate, coach, or practice location are considered but we cannot guarantee. We try earnestly to honor all requests throughout the team formation process.

Additional Information
Younger teams will play without goalkeepers. Older teams will play with goalkeepers. Requests will be considered, but the Club cannot guarantee. Recreational Soccer Star Teams are coed.
We depend on parental involvement and volunteering for different duties and positions within their teams as well as within the Club. Also, any sponsorship/donation will be greatly appreciated.
We anticipate a fun and exciting season for all those participating.
